The Broadview Website had not been been rebranded for several years and there were a few dead pages. I had been tasked by the Director at the time to rebrand the website to fit the times and to reflect Broadview's new image of resurgence.
The development department worked closely with a website designer to make sure the forms and our online donation software worked and i created the colour palette on a previous newsletter which the director board liked and decided to make the official colours. We also worked closely with the Nursing department to make sure our mission and our healing message were reflected the website.
Whilst doing this I happened upon historical documents and photos of Broadview's beginning and past and used the founders mission of creating an "Inn of the Good Samaritan" where fellow Christian Scientists in temporary need of nursing care could be given such care in an atmosphere conducive to healing to tie Broadview to the Christian Science history of Los Angeles and the Christian Science community.
In the course of creating the website I was able to update my Wordpress and CSS skills as well as learn how to use the new DIVI visual builder that the website designer was using.
The website continues to be updated and reworked months after my internship completion and can be viewed here at www.csbroadview.org.
